We thought overall the accommodation was OK for our basic needs.
Everything in the property appeared clean.
The upright rotating fan heater. It was far more effective than the actual radiators.
It was within a short walking distance of two main supermarkets, pharmacy, post office, coffee shops etc, so convenient for all needs.
It was in a quiet location (but could get a bit noisy some nights until the clientele from the pub over the wall had gone home. We didn't encounter a major issue, but I imagine it could be a problem on occasion/for some.)
Having arrived at the location, we felt that there could have been more information in the original description. I emailed the owner in advance to ask if there was a dishwasher and was told there wasn't one. In fact there was one available - bonus! I also asked if there was a coffee machine and if so what type it was, or if there was a cafetiere. I was told there was neither. In fact, there was no machine but there was a cafetiere so we needn't have packed one.
On arrival I had to contact the owner and ask how to work the reading lamps in one of the bedrooms. Apparently they should have been charged up in advance but were not and we could not find the cable to do it for ourselves.
My companions found that there wasn't sufficient hanging/drawer space, especially in the twin room.
It would have been difficult for two adults to share the twin room because of having to squeeze past one bed to get to the other.
(NB: The gated entrance to the court yard from the main road is very narrow and could be a problem if you have a larger vehicle. If your car wouldn't fit, you would need to wheel/carry your luggage over the shingle driveway area from the closest safe parking/drop off point on the main road. Thankfully, I could just get my car through!)

Location was excellent for our requirements. Parking was a little difficult, but only because of the somewhat restrictive access. No fault of the owners. Alternative parking was available but a little bit away from the property. Facilities were good and well presented. Nice & clean too.

Place was great after it was cleaned!
When we arrived tired at 6.00pm the place had not been cleaned after previous users, which was very disappointing. I had to telephone to try to sort it out. Cleaners were then organised to come in about half an hour or so. We waited for them to arrive and then we went out for 1 1/2 hours wandering the town's closed shops, when we really wanted to be relaxing and eating our supper! The cleaners did do a grand job and were pleasant. They were just loading up to leave as we arrived back. So this was not a good start to our much needed, short two night relaxing break away.
