What can I say but WOW! Just everything was perfect! We had booked the greet from the plane through the hotel - if you have never been to Istanbul airport before it was a ‘must’ as far as we were concerned- the airport is huge - plus we were delivered to the hotel in style. Our room overlooking the Bosphorus was fabulous - our late in room dinner arrived in very good time and was delicious! We did a two hour boat trip on the hotel boat - PEN 1 and loved it. Our second day we booked, again through the hotel a 4 hour guided tour and we were treated to mosques, cistern, Turkish history - putting so much into perspective. All through this, the hotel staff were exemplary - so kind and helpful. The hotel is positioned so well - should we ever be in Istanbul again the Peninsula will be our hotel of choice 100 per cent!
There is really nothing to say except maybe marble floored showers do take a little negotiating!
