Really comfy bed which was all we wanted after a long flight. Lovely comfy big room. The shower consumables were lovely and the conditioner made my hair really soft. My girlfriend really enjoyed the spa's massage services and we also were offered free 30-minute beer bath treatments which made our skin soft.
We were only there for one night so not much to comment on & we didn't have any problems. Lighting was apparently a bit tricky to do makeup in but this seems to be a recurring theme across Vietnamese accommodation as my other half informs me.

Very good location in the old town not far from the famous Train Street. Good breakfast. Small but nice, well appointed room with great air conditioning.
Bed was way too firm, but this is very common throughout Vietnam.

The breakfast was fairly good and the chef was great and the restaurant manager, Luang was brilliant and very professional. It is a shame the rest of the staff weren't trained by him!
We booked some treatments in the spa whilst still in the UK as we were both exhausted and although we never usually use hotel spas we as they are so expensive compared to outside the hotel we thought we would treat outselves.
My treatment was the four hour treatment with the 'Beer Bath' and my husbands was two hours. The treatment itself was very good but was an hour shorter than it should have been. When it had finished we were both told to sit up (in seperate rooms) and a phone pushed in our faces that asked for a tip on translate. When we said yes we were told give it now! We then went into the Beer Bath that was actually a wooden tub in a shower cubicle that had a rubber mat on the floor with a pipe going to it blowing in bubbles. The mat didn't stay on the floor so you had to hold it down. There was no one in ear shot and my husband didn't feel good as it was so hot so he got out but he had to find someone ask for a towel and some water. We went to reception to say we weren't happy and the boy on reception just laughed and said it was because they had a staff party that night so they were rushing. The next day another man sorted it out and dealt with it a lot better. First of all he said that they would give us a free car to the airport which we declined but after speaking to the manager they only charged us half price. It really took the edge off of our stay as it was more than obvious all the staff knew about it and it was something we had really been looking forward to. We booked half board but you get a very limited menu to choose from (the food was excellent though) We were too late the first night and the third night was the staff party so we had lunch the next day but that meant we had to return to the hotel during the day which was not ideal.
