This hostel is in a fantastic central location, close to Tahrir Square and the old Egyptian Museum. It occupies the 6th and 7th floors of a 100-year-old French-style building, with a lift up to the 6th floor. The hostel is bright, airy, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe staying here.
What really makes this hostel special is the staff. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and always greeted guests with a smile. There is a genuinely warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Breakfast was plentiful and nicely presented in the common room, with views over the hustle and bustle of Cairo.
I stayed in a twin room with an ensuite bathroom. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was air conditioning and plenty of hot water. There were lots of power sockets for charging devices, and the Wi-Fi worked well on both floors.
highly recommended
I was alone in the room so this was no problem for me, but if 2 people sharing room- the ensuite bathroom in my room was not fully enclosed, the wall between room and bathroom does not go all the way up to ceiling, so does not give complete privacy when using. But for me it was not a problem

The apartment is very clean and the AC works very well. The staff are extremely friendly. When we arrived, Noor welcomed us warmly and offered us refreshments. Seif offered to help us with our bags up the stairs. At breakfast Miriam and her colleagues were so warm and welcoming, and very attentive to our needs. I had a cough, and Miriam quickly brought me a drink. The breakfast was delicious. The location is excellent, close to all the important sights to see in Cairo, and many nice restaurants. We will stay here again whenever we return to Cairo.
We have nothing that we didn’t like.

A very comfortable hostel with a lovely, attentive staff, clean spacious rooms (especially on the lower level). Nice communal area with a clean kitchen & lounge area. The breakfasts were delicious, filling and served promptly. Excellent central location if you want to stay in Cairo. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The old Egyptian museum is about 6 minutes walk and the city’s famous Koshary restaurant Abou Tarek is about 5 minute walk (must try!).
I liked everything about the property.
