We stayed on a Monday night so neither staff nor breakfast was available. However, the room was clean and comfortable and the road, which was busy during the day, was quiet at night.
We were very lucky to get in to the room as I never received the email with the keysafe code and, being a Monday night, the pub was closed. Luckily someone picked up the phone when I rang and gave us the code we needed.
They had left us one hand towel and one bath towel to share between two and it was a bit chilly in the room as it was the first cool evening for months (I think we were the only people staying).

There are no real problems. The value for money was exceptional. It was clean neat and the garden was lovely. I had no problem sleeping. Having a bar and restaurant on hand was We awoke at six and left shortly after.
Really, nothing much. I dislike the Booking. com 'code' admission intensely and do not to pretend to understand it. I had to have help in locating both rooms from someone who understood the system (the previous night I had booked accomodation in Brighton and was kept waiting a full hour on a premium line for the code, growing cold in the night). Not only is it impenetrable, it is 'cold'. Being welcomed by a senior bar staffer is both warm and human.

Great location; easy access and nice atmosphere
Bathroom could be a bit nicer but that’s it.

The bed was comfortable and check in was easy. Shower was nice and powerful. Room was boiling but a fan was provided.
Left with bed bug bites, no reception in the area, really hard to get a taxi.
