There were one or two snagging things in the bathroom (worn silicone) and main room (large carpet burn), but they did not detract from our overall enjoyment of our stay.

The location was great. The house itself is fabulous. Cocktails at the bar were lovely. And the bed was super comfy!

An old charming mansion in the main that is the look seen fro the website picture The main house itself is not in use.The habitable rooms are found at the Grange which is on the same ground but a few minutes walking from the main entrance. It is better to get there into your own car therefore you can move round the huge property freely or you can rent one of the golf cart that are available on the property The rooms at the Grange are very modern clean & comfy.
The food I ordered at the restaurant was not to my liking

The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was OK, good coffee. Parking provided.
The room was very cold and we needed to request more bedding. Only thin summer duvet provided. We eventually got an extra heater at about 11pm. There had been no heating on this wing of the annexe, either in the room of the corridor.
