I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier Riad to stay with in Fes. The family owned and operated 300 year old house was so comfortable I felt at home. The family is so kind and caring. The breakfast is delicious and everything is home made. My room was beautiful and the tile floors and bathroom are special. The bed and pillows and relaxing and I slept very well. The Riad is walking distance from the souk and many restaurants also. I had two delicious home made dinners!

We booked this riad because of its beautiful traditional architecture/décor and the excellent location. It is close to a parking area, which means you don't have to carry your suitcase through the labyrinth of the medina to get to the riad and can always find the way back to your room.
Our family room was clean, lovely, and comfortably furnished. We felt very at ease and were able to relax well after an action-packed day in the medina.
The terrace is wonderful in the evening; you get a great view of the city from up there and can relax in the hanging chair.
The Moroccan breakfast was always freshly prepared.
The hosts are very nice, friendly, and approachable.
The cost of laundry services is quite high (10 Euros /load). It would be great if a communal washing machine were available so that guests could wash and hang up their own laundry (by themselves) for a reasonable additional fee.

After a long, tiring day of exploring the Medina, coming back to the Riad felt like coming home. They greeted us every evening with warm mint tea, which was the perfect way to unwind. Houria is so knowledgeable; she took the time to explain the history of Fez and gave us brilliant recommendations for local restaurants that we truly enjoyed.
The level of service was amazing—they even sent someone to walk us directly to the restaurant to ensure we didn't get lost in the winding streets. On our final day, Yahya went above and beyond by coming out to reserve a taxi for us, and they both came outside to see us off personally.
Riad Fes Colors is a beautiful ancestral home turned into a Riad, and you can feel the history in every corner. It is a lovely family-run business that I will be recommending to all my friends and family. A truly 10/10 experience!
