Location was awesome, super clean and well manage Alfred I believe who is the owner of the hotel and running the place does an excellent job. The hotel is very well staffed and they do a wonderful job, they are all so very friendly. We loved the restaurant, their food were delicious and excellent service. oh and Alfred is an awesome musician one night during our dinner he sat down and played the piano fantastic. Everything about this hotel far beyond 5 star service.

What a lovely hotel. Right in the centre of old Certaldo. We drove into a square nearby but had to move our car to a car park a few minutes walk away but that is no problem. The hotel is old with stairs and no lift so the manager kindly helped us carry our cases up the stairs. We didn't eat there in the evening but the menu looked great and the outside courtyard very pretty. Beds were very comfortable, we slept extremely well. Beautiful view from our room. Breakfast was extremely good, with coffee made to order. Dining room very interesting with lots of old jazz paraphernalia. We would definitely stay here again.
The lady who checked us in didn't ask me if I needed help with my bags going up the stairs and it wasn't until I started trying on my own that the manager kindly offered.

Beautiful terrace overlooking the stunning scenery, great sized room and comfortable bed. The staff were so friendly and willing to accommodate any requests.
There was nothing I disliked.
