I really loved this hotel! The room was a good size, the facilities were great, and we even had a bathtub. We were welcomed with hot tea and coffee at reception, and the staff were super friendly. The breakfast was amazing, and for Zermatt, I thought it was great value for money.
The absolute highlight was the breathtaking Matterhorn view from our balcony. We got to enjoy it at all times, from sunrise to sunset. The location was also great. It's not right on the main street, which I actually preferred.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, across the river, but honestly, without luggage, you barely notice it because everything around you is so beautiful.
Just a tip for travellers - If you're arriving in the late morning and planning to visit Gornergrat on the same day, consider storing your luggage at the station and heading straight to the Gornergratbahn before checking in. That's what we did, and it worked out really well!

Location is great, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The heating was nearly absent and we were freezing during our stay. The room was just old and didn’t have any hangers despite the wardrobe.
