Hotel Sarazena was our favorite stay during our Switzerland trip. It’s a lovely hotel located right near the main train station and Gornergrat station. We booked the apartment and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and clean. The furnishings and finishes were lovely. We were able to cook and do laundry. The soaking tub was huge. The apartment has a huge balcony with two walkouts and a Matterhorn view. The kitchen gave us more views and we could see the Valais black neck goats making their way up the mountain every day. My only regret? Not booking a longer stay.
Not a critique but just so travelers are aware: There is one way to and from the hotel entrance from the main road. You are unable to go through any other route. Sometimes you do have to move out of the way of taxis and bicycles.

Location, facilities in the apartment were fantastic ! Everything thought of. Cleanliness, balcony, view. It was exceptional.

The location is very close to the station, if a little hard to find at first. The signposts are very useful although I accidentally ended up at the Italian restaurant once. There is a good breakfast and the staff are eager to offer you a hot drink, although they seemed to keep running out of sliced bread for the toaster. The room was fabulous with a bath in the en-suite and a balcony. There was quite a good view of the Matterhorn from the balcony, although it was partly obscured by an electricity line.
The signposts seemed to run out close to the hotel, although the route was pretty obvious. Also, I was woken up by the 7:00 by the tannoy for the Gornergrat Express.
