Planet Hollywood was amazing. Our adult kids and 10 year old twin grands traveled together. Everyone enjoyed everything. Diana with guest services made this trip effortless she took care restaurant reservations and a problem we had with transportation. She is amazing!!!

Fun party atmosphere and the staff were friendly. The coffee shop made delicious brews and the bakery offerings were especially popular with our child. We greatly enjoyed the excursions we took. Some of the evening entertainments were very enjoyable. The food offerings were mixed with some very tasty presentations and some less remarkable. Our room was fine with a lovely view and the cleaning staff were responsive. We had a bit of trouble checking in since Expedia seems to have not booked our child in spite of our attempts to do so. We also had trouble with the airport transfer company.

Everything was amazing. Lots of walking but shuttles were available. The breakfast was delicious lots of choices. The speciality restaurants were good too. Had no issues with getting reservations.

Room. It was fairly clean, I say that because when we got ready for bed, after pulling the sheets from bed, there was black little bugs.
Staff. Extremely poor method of checking in, they didnt have my name they only had my husband's name twice on the reservation and blamed expedia. We were never told about the upgrade of $200, therefore I was not able to order the good tequila nor ceviche!! Like what! Im on vacation at an all inclusive resort!
Breakfast. Good but no bacon, you must order and they run out by 11, so no you cant order bacon burger later.
Bar. Again only the house tequila or what they have no DON JULIO because I didn't pay the upgrade that was offered to me.
AND dinner reservations must be on the app on your phone. Needless to say my dad that is a senior citizen had no clue on how to reserve for dinner therefore ate from the buffet everyday.
Overall. I probably wont be back, costa rica is a beautiful place but the amenities at Planet Hollywood left me with a sour taste to the overall experience. There was a wedding taking place and I was told everything was booked due to wedding and they were short handed, thats why transportation was not available so we had to walk. Please look into this place before you book. Only the good reviews are posted!
