Amazing place if you want traditional housing and don't mind mountainous roads and you plan to travel into town from the village for eating out. The one taverna that serves food only opens at 2000 and isn't open every day. When they are open though they have Amazing food and the waitress was amazing as well. There's places to get groceries if you want to cook for yourself.

We loved our stay at this beautiful house. The location is excellent, making it very easy to drive to either side of Crete. Our host was fantastic and very friendly, helpful, and highly responsive. She also gave us great recommendations for places to visit around the island. The house itself is lovely and equipped with basic supplies for cooking in the evening, which was mostly suitable for our needs. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was so adorable! We were running extremely late do to a change in our flight but the owner stayed up to greet us. She showed us around the village and where the stores were. Even offered to check on us if we needed it. The house itself was cozy and well kept. We had the pleasure of having a nice dog hang out outside our door. We did run into some issues back home that caused us to have to leave early. The owner was very kind and even offered us a deal so our money wasn't going to be waste for when we return. I'm looking forward to coming back once everything back home has settled down. Thank you so much for the amazing time. I live in the mountains and this truly felt like home.

I give this hotel the highest rating in every aspect and cleanliness, location, and tranquility. The accommodation is located in a beautiful and peaceful village, and the people there are incredibly kind and welcoming.
The hotel owner is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure that her guests are satisfied and have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I highly recommend this place, especially in the middle of a trip, after the noise of the city, the crowds, the heat of the sun, and the many pools and beaches. It is the perfect place to relax and recharge for one or two days in this quiet and beautiful village.
