I stayed in a Superior room thanks to a complimentary upgrade through Booking.com, which I happily took advantage of. The room was big—genuinely big—and spacious, with top-notch touches that I really appreciated, such as the coffee machine and espresso cups. It was the first time I had come across proper espresso cups in any of my hotel stays. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained.
Breakfast was truly top class, with a wide variety of food, from hot and savoury options to cold dishes and sweet treats. Really excellent. The fitness area was equally impressive: very well maintained and equipped with plenty of state-of-the-art machines.
The location is ideal for reaching so many of Prague’s attractions on foot.
The hotel’s layout is a little complicated and takes some getting used to.
As I also experienced at other hotels during my trip, across different countries and hotel chains, the breakfast service can sometimes be a little too attentive. I fully appreciate the staff’s efforts to look after guests, but a waiter almost cleared away my full cup of coffee and full glass of orange juice while I was at one of the buffet stations getting some food. I had simply left them on the table where I was sitting. That felt a little excessive.

The room was spacious, and the staff were great. It wasn’t too far into the old town - about 15 minutes walking, or you can take the tram 2 blocks away. I appreciated the soaking tub after a long day of walking.
There were not a lot of restaurants nearby, and the property was a bit dated. The carpet and tile in the bathroom, in particular, could use a refresh.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff helpfull.
At 4:20 in the morning the electricity shorted in the room. Call to the reception revealed that a technician comes at 8:00. I needed a shower and get ready for work. By 8:00 I was checking out. The receptionist came but couldn’t help with the electrical failure. I had to move room at 5:00 AM. It was very unpleasant and I was tired as I didn’t have a good night sleep. This episode clouded what could’ve been extremely pleasant experience. Also, I was surprised that upon check in nobody at the reception spoke Czech. I don’t mind as I am fluent in English but it was strange.
