We had a lovely spacious room and bathroom that were comfortable and spotlessly clean.
The shower was powerful, however, there was a gap between the screen and the bath so the bathroom got soaked every time we used it.
The room doors need a soft close mechanism fitted to stop people from constantly slamming doors.
The breakfast was not too bad but could do with some more cold options. The breakfast tables are very sticky!
Overall we had a lovely stay.

I'd particularly like to thank Sharon at the reception desk > she was so helpful on arrival and very pleasant.
The parking was easy and the room was spotless, even the breakfast was very nice.
We actually stayed about 8 years ago as well. A place I will come back to if we were staying in the Lake District again.

Very happy with the room and view over the river. The bar area was very nice to having the decking area where you could sit outside again by the river. Didn't have time for breakfast as we had an early start so cannot comment on that. Parking facilities were excellent.

Underground car park was a welcome bonus. Use sat nav to find it though. not the hotels fault that there is a long one way system in kendal. put it in sat nav before you leave the motorway to get the best route.
Debs on reception was great. bar food was excellent (evening meal and breakfast). I was on a business trip but will definitely go back with the better half when visiting Kendal.
