Car park was full in the evening so had to park in a lay-by nearby. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. We were in a top floor room with a very low ceiling that could do with some padding on the corners as it was a safety hazard.

Really great stay near Kendal and Windermere. Breakfast included with our booking with generous cooked offering, on top of cereal selection too. We had dinner one night which was very nice - good portions for price, some local choices on specials which was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. You can take beers from the bar to your room before last orders should you prefer the comfort of the room/a nightcap. Probably the comfiest bed I’ve stayed in, in a hotel, for a very long time too.
