We stayed in an Executive run which was well maintained and spacious if a little dated. Bathroom had been updated but corners had been cut like an old siding on the bath.
Air con worked well and the room was quiet overnight.
Breakfast wasn’t great. Limited choices and the eggs were terrible both scrambled and fried, but it was only £10 each.
It was good value for money overall and convenient for a stroll into town to catch the shuttle bus to Llangollen Pavilion.
Would imagine it gets very busy on match days as it is close to the Race Course ground.

Great location
Comfy big bed (exec business rm)
Air con (though this seemed to be set and we couldn’t programme it to go below 19)
Usually quiet
Staff go out of their way to give any requests
