The gym was exceptional for a spa hotel and the breakfast was very pleasant however we did find that the hotel itself was quite dated and the rooms were in need of a bit of updating. The bathroom especially could use some modernization.

The ambience was lovely on arrival, the staff efficient and I enjoyed the spa facilities. The room was excellent, clean and well supplied with tea, coffee, toiletries, towels etc. The only slight disappointment was that there were twin beds rather than the double I'd requested.
