Iberostar Selection Bávaro Suites - All Inclusive

Beautiful stay for our family of 4! We really enjoyed being steps from the beach and pools, the delicious selection of food and great entertainment at this hotel. We went snorkeling in clear blue water, got to swim every day and had the most special private dinner on the beach to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel staff here was incredibly kind and considerate and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for during our visit. I am so grateful to Ana Nuñez for answering all of my questions, being a remarkable concierge and assisting us at the hotel with planning excursions, meals and adventures. Ana is so kind and her presence during the trip made a huge difference and made us all love Iberostar Bavaro Suites. Thank you gracias ANa!

Amazing property, clean, very helpful staff, amenities were perfect, location is ideal. Would definitely go again.

The hotel amenities,food and staff where amazing!. The only bad thing was that the rooms need update and maintenance. AC and ligthing did not work properly and it had an awful sewer smell at nigth. The good treatment and fun was bigger and better to ruin my trip. Definitely Iberostart Selection good hotel to stay

Iberostar is a shadow of its former glory from 15-20 years ago. Over the years I visited Iberostar Linda, Iberostar, Selection Suits, Iberostar Punta Cana, Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus. This honest review is based on comparison of the current state to my previous 25+ years with this brand and 11 stays. - Rooms are dated and the fixes to address issues are "creative" with a negative connotation. My balcony and my window locks were broken. The staff chose a creative approach of drilling a hole, so you have to insert a stud pin through 2 panels. Did it work? Yes. Was it annoying? Absolutely. Is that a 5* hotel solution? No! - No pen or notepad on the nightstand (was offered 3 years ago and before), no clock, mirrors are old - Bathrooms doors don't lock by design.. This is a new industry trend I guess but doesn't make it a good thing. - Black dirty Table lamp that was very out of place and would be an embarrassment even to a 3* hotel. - AC works but it's weak - Bathroom products are very basic. No personal care kits. Cotton pads, Q-tips, Toothbrush/toothpaste kits, shower cap, shaving kit. Anything? Nope, Nada. - Food is still ok but not as good as several years back. Lobster Thursdays? Gone. - Staff is undertrained compared to old times especially in buffet and restaurants. Why? - The vibe I got "we still have customers why bother"? Won't last much longer with this attitude. After 25+ of being a loyal customer I won't be coming back.
