The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment, and there are some areas that are not yet complete and not started yet, with a noticeable paint odor. The room itself was refurbisht clean nacely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the bathroom could benefit from refurbishment as there were several visible "snags" that detracted from its overall appearance.
The staff at the reception, bar, and restaurant were all very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, though the coffee could be improved. The restaurant is definitely in need of refurbishment.
The hotel's central location made it convenient to access everything I needed. I will certainly return again.

Our family room was freshly painted, clean with comfortable beds and good linen. The hotel overall is old in style and would need a major overhaul to be perfect but for the price we paid including breakfast we couldn’t fault it. The staff, all of them were kind, friendly and very helpful.
