Good location and extremely good value for money.
The property is currently undergoing refurbishment by the new owners and this is a mammoth task. It’s a very large hotel which has been in Burslem for as long as anyone can remember.

Wasn't one 🙄
A bar and restaurant would have been nice

Great room, especially for the price I paid. Far exceed what I was expecting. Room was nice and cosy, and the bed was comfortable. The room was quite small but it was fine for 1 person using it.
The bath was a nice size, but the shower wasn't attached to the wall so I had to hold it when I showered. Not a big deal for me and I didn't mind, but might put some guests off.

Very friendly receptionist, good at advising where to eat, showing me to my room etc...
No WiFi in room, still smell of paint, but not too strong.
