The hotel is beautiful and historical. Our original room had a chemical smell. When we brought this to their attention they moved us to a better room with a view. Our stay, in a room with two double beds, was roomy and the bathroom was well appointed. The location downtown met our needs and the valet service was worth every penny. Have stayed there once before and would stay there again when I visit Portland.
