Gran Hotel Ciudad de México is beautiful and was very quiet, even though it was fully booked. The staff were attentive and professional. We were welcomed with champagne and found chocolates in our room.
As Expedia VIP members, we were upgraded to a suite overlooking the Zócalo. The view was amazing. The lobby ceiling is also worth seeing in person.
We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, especially making our own waffles. The dinners were disappointing. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with excellent staff and a great view.
