The property is very elegant and situated in a quiet area walking distance to everything. The staff was lovely as well. Would definitely go back to the Palazzo Montebello!

Fourth time to Florence, but first time we stayed at this property. Lovely property away from the crowds of central Florence, but still only a 10 minute walk to the train station or Ponte Vecchio and 15 minutes to the Duomo and Mercato Centrale. 20-25 minute taxi ride to the airport. Quite area. A few nice restaurant options around the area, but no convenience stores nearby, so plan to grab some drinks or snacks on your way back to the hotel. Room was typical for European standard size room. Bedding was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay from check in to check out.
