Exactly what I needed for a one night stay. Good, clean, spacious room in a good location right across from the train station.
Nothing much

There was a window above the door that let in light from the hallway all night

Hotel Concord was lovely - the food at the pub was delicious and staff were great. The bed was comfy and linen was clean, bathroom was clean (depends how many people you have to share with and how clean they are!).
It was pretty loud unfortunately… Noise (chatting, laughing, music) until about 10:30pm (sometimes later) and that was on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night - I definitely wouldn’t want to stay there on a Friday or Saturday night. My ceiling fan didn’t work, but luckily there was a pedestal fan to keep me cool because I also couldn’t open the window. But that wasn’t too bad - the noise was the reason I wouldn’t stay again. Maybe my particular room just sat above the sports bar or something. Room 9.

We stayed for the NRL grand final - it was an easy walk in to Accor stadium, and the best value for money property around town given the peak event. There is a good cafe down the street (Mattina). Train station across the road is handy if you need public transport, a short 20 min drive from the airport
Staff helpful, let us check in early when room was ready.
The shared bathrooms weren’t overly clean, the toilet was cramped. Only one key. Beds not great.
Served the purpose for our trip - we would stay there again given the price of competitors and it was for a specific event, however not first choice for a holiday.
