Love the new renovations… spacious room, comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shared shower. Next to train station
The stairs but only because I had some heavy bags to carry 🙄

Great location and value. It's a beautiful old building, very clean and comfortable. I was a little concerned about the shared bathroom when booking but they were always clean, the house keeping staff do a great job. Staff were always friendly and polite. I've stayed multiple times and will definitely return in the future. As mentioned above, the location is great being just across from Strathfield station which provides frequent and easy access to the city.
The walls and doors do little to keep out the noise of the other guests and doors opening/shutting.
