Many positives, and a fantastic location—just five minutes from town.
First and foremost, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful with anything we needed. They recommended restaurants, made dinner reservations, arranged taxis, and even provided bartending and laundry services. The small bar near reception was a great place to relax, meet fellow travelers, and enjoy a nice drink.
One of the biggest highlights for us was the real, cold air conditioning in our room—a welcome relief during the unusually intense heat wave we experienced while traveling. Bayeux itself was especially pleasant in the evenings.
Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed, with a modern bathroom, updated lighting, very comfortable beds, and daily housekeeping service.
Be sure to get the breakfast buffet as well. It was fresh, plentiful, and very reasonably priced, with eggs, bacon, sausage, quiche, vegetables, pastries, breads, and much more.
It’s clear that the owners have invested in many recent upgrades and improvements, and they appeared to be continuing that work during our stay.
We would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and cold air conditioning. Couldn’t ask for a better stay in Bayeux.

Staff were so welcoming. Room was clean, bathroom was recently updated and had a/c which was so nice with abnormally higher temps. The hotel fit the look of the city and was yet modern in the room. They offered laundering service which was so helpful. Hotel was very walkable to the numerous cafe’s. Great place would recommend to book here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Good parking available at the hotel. Breakfasts and dinner were all delicious. A very nice outdoor area to have a drink before dinner. From here you can see the steeples of the Bayeux cathedral. A 10-minute walk to many dining options. Convenient to Normandy beaches.
