Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und haben unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen! Die Lage ist ideal, nur etwa 30 Minuten vom Flughafen Hoedspruit entfernt. Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir unglaublich freundlich begrüßt und durch das Reserve bis zu unserem Zimmer begleitet.
Die inkludierten Game Drives waren ein absolutes Highlight. Sie wurden mit viel Leidenschaft und Wissen durchgeführt und haben uns unvergessliche Erlebnisse beschert. Außerdem wurden für uns Ausflüge in den Kruger-Nationalpark und in ein benachbartes Reserve organisiert, was unseren Aufenthalt noch abwechslungsreicher gemacht hat.
Besonders schön war auch die familiäre Atmosphäre. Da wir insgesamt nur acht Gäste waren, konnten wir eine tolle Zeit miteinander verbringen. Es wurde sogar sehr traditionelles südafrikanisches Essen für uns zubereitet, und wir durften unseren eigenen Braai veranstalten – ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis!
Das gesamte Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam, sodass wir uns von Anfang an willkommen und wohlgefühlt haben.
Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt mit unvergesslichen Erlebnissen, tollen Menschen und echtem südafrikanischem Flair. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen!
Wenn wir einen kleinen Verbesserungspunkt nennen müssten, wäre es die Badsituation. Die Dusche befand sich im Außenbereich, was zwar ein besonderes Erlebnis ist, für uns aber gerade nachts nicht ideal war, da wir sie dann nicht mehr nutzen wollten. Im Innenbereich gab es eine Badewanne, allerdings hatten weder die Dusche draußen noch die Badewanne eine Handbrause. Das ist in Südafrika durchaus üblich, für uns persönlich wäre eine Handbrause jedoch etwas komfortabler gewesen.

They should add that there is NO big 5!...
the Big 5 game drive at neigbouring lodge was like Kylami Race track, very unprofessional and poor. they way place is portrayed on Booking.com catches you into thinnking it is a game Lodge. Having to call someone every time you go in and out the gate is extremelly annoying and irritating... There is no communicaton between anyone, would definately not recommend and certainly not for international tourists, who come to africa to see Big 5. Sunday afternoon you lying at pool they building across the way from the pool, so not peaceful, and on a Sunday....
