The hotel is nice and clean, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Good location and the shuttle bus services are very helpful. At least you can visit 2 iconic places in Kyoto without worrying about transportation. Worth the price. I really recommend this monDay hotel.

This hotel was very modern. The set up was very Japanese themed. The body wash was soooo good it was like non other I’ve used in my travels lol Very convenient and comfortable.

As an English speaking only guest, the lack of an English speaking broadcast on the tv was frustrating. Access to CNN would be a marked impprovement!

Location is hard to beat with walking distance to Nijo Castle & Kyotogyoen, sun=bway staion, 7-Elevens, Sukiya; free shuttle to Arashiyama and Kinkuji is truly icing on the cake. Great selection at breakfast with Japanese and Western-style cuisine. Rooms are on the small side but par the course with other Japanese hotels. Bathroom is really nice and sparkling clean with shower and Japanese soaking tub.
