This place was incredible, super friendly staff, not only was it still affordable, but the building has unique history and they put a lot of work in the making it special. Great for the family, kids loved it we will be back.

This was our last stop after a Grand Teton/Yellowstone vacation as we headed back toward SLC through Idaho. Many of the places we picked to stay because they were in the parks and the for the scenery. The Harkness did not disappoint as far as offering a little luxury at the end of this trip. The Indigo room impressed upon arrival with its tall ceilings and gas fireplace. The bathroom was spectacular with a wonderful soaking tub and wonderful separate shower. The bed was beyond comfortable! The choices of coffees and teas were appreciated in the morning. As others have mentioned, food selections in town are minimal, but knowing this, we chose to eat about 25 minutes away prior to arrival. Access to the highway was very easy as well.
The room was luxurious compared to the surrounding town but I am so very glad we chose to stay here and would do so again if the opportunity arose.
