Very clean room, spacious, sunny and stunning views from bedroom. Very clean and well serviced kitchenette. Was wheel chair unit so large bathroom and plenty of space for a wheel chair user.
Pet friendly with doggie friends for our old boy. Very clean outside re no animal droppings, even with the two resident chooks. No animal smell in units at all. Units well aired.
Owners friendly and super helpful re places to see, to eat, shop hours for groceries. So handy to town and Lake Matheson with walkway right outside to both. Stunning views of Mts Tasman and Cook. Want to go back for a week at least next time.

Our room was great, and you can tell the owners take pride in their establishment. It was the perfect place for our two nights in the area. If you go there during winter, know that it will take a while for the room to warm up to a comfortable level.

Simple but clean and updated room. Bathroom and shower were very nice. Well worth got in a bit late but Matt was helpful in getting us settled. Great value!

Always love my stay at MtCook View Motel. We were warmly welcomed by the Owner as well as his lovely dogs.
Our room was already lovely and warm and the beds were very comfortable.
Just Mother Nature decided that we didn’t need to see the Alps this visit.
