The property was lovely, clean and secure.
They asked for £350 security deposit a day before the trip. I hadn’t seen the sneaky small print so it was a massive shock. I didn’t have that much extra cash and it was too late to cancel and find somewhere else. I should have read the small print, that was my fault but I’ve never had to pay up front for a security deposit before and it should have been clearly stated before I booked. Booking.com stated in the confirmation to never pay the property any more money as it was fully paid so I was very anxious about it being a scam. It took nearly a full week to get it back which was very nerve wracking. Would never book again.
