Our vacation home has a living area of 100 square meters and welcomes you to the beautiful Westerwald village of Girkenroth (population 600). The vacation home, which has been lovingly furnished to a high standard with modern amenities, is available for your exclusive use, along with the 800-square-meter property. The house features 2 separate bedrooms (1 double bed, 180 × 200 cm; 2 single beds, 90 × 200 cm), two bathrooms with showers and toilets, a washing machine, a kitchen equipped with high-quality appliances, a large living/dining room, and a storage room. The house accommodates up to 6 people (with a pull-out couch in the living room). Your beds will be made upon arrival. One shower towel and one hand towel per person are provided for your initial use. The absolute highlight is the large, partially covered terrace with a cozy garden lounge, a Weber charcoal grill, and a breathtaking panoramic view.
The excellent, award-winning hiking trails “Westerwälder Riesen” and “Blasiussteig” pass through Girkenroth. Our vacation home is located right next to the Watzenhahn recreational area with its well-known attractions: the Blasiusberg with the Blasius Chapel, the “Eternal Ice,” and the Hildegardisfelsen observation deck. There are numerous bike paths to explore through the magnificent countryside.
Girkenroth itself is a place where the village community is a top priority and people enjoy socializing. Our village has everything you need for daily life—fresh bread rolls, sausage, fruits and vegetables, wine, flowers... Our vacation home invites you to linger. Watching the sun set from the sun terrace and enjoying the magnificent view of the beautiful Westerwald rounds off a wonderful day of vacation.
Lake Wiesensee, with its golf course, is just a few minutes away, as are three outdoor swimming pools and many restaurants.
The vacation home does not have a pool.

Bachelor and bachelorette parties or similar celebrations are not permitted at this property.

Our new vacation home with a large property has been completely refurbished.
In the photos, you can see the high-quality, cozy furnishings of the house. Enjoy winding down the evening with a nice glass of wine after a long day spent in beautiful nature. You can watch the magnificent sunset every evening from the terrace or from the living and dining room.
The bathrooms are very spacious, and the large shower is walk-in. The fully equipped kitchen is open-concept and connected to the living area. The living areas are flooded with light thanks to the large windows; this is a low-energy home featuring triple-pane windows and underfloor heating. The panoramic window in the living area has a 2-meter-wide sliding door that opens onto the large terrace.



On-site costs: Our modern and high-quality furnished vacation home warmly invites you to enjoy a wonderful vacation in the Westerwald. You can see the interior and get a glimpse of the surroundings in the photos. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests—enjoy nature and a break from everyday life in our beautiful Sonnenterrasse vacation home. Please contact us the day before your arrival to arrange key pickup, etc. We look forward to seeing you! The booking price includes final cleaning, an initial supply of towels (one shower towel and one hand towel per person), kitchen towels, and beds made upon arrival.
