The mattresses were divine! I didn't want to get out of bed! The room was beautifully clean. Plenty of amenities were supplied, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, towels, hairdryer, body wash, shampoo. Although the hotel is on a street with busy night life not much of the hustle and bustle penetrates the room, so a peaceful night was had! 11am check out means a cheeky little lie in and no rushing around in the morning. Tesco express right on the doorstep along with a vast array of pubs, clubs and restaurants. Ideally situated.
The only niggle I had was that with the curtains open Bold St had a front row view into our 1st floor room and with closing the curtains we lost a lot of natural light. So maybe nets under the curtains for a bit of privacy and to allow daylight in? Other than that it is a fantastic place to stay! We have re-booked again for next year.

The location was excellent, but with that come drawbacks - see below.
The hotel was very, very noisy with the bars having refuse collections while we were trying to sleep. The late night revellers outside at 3am were annoying, given we were out until 1am.
The ac unit was loose on the wall, but once informed about this, reception said they would fix it.
