Hanover Hotel

Great central location for transport, shopping and entertainment. Nice big, clean room with newish carpet, comfortable bed and decent bathroom, acceptable full English breakfast. For the price the hotel is great value, I would book this again when visiting Liverpool.

The location is excellent, with all the main nightlife spots within walking distance. Concert Square is just a 2-minute walk away, and Mathew Street is around 8 minutes away. The hotel is a little old-fashioned, but the rooms are clean, tidy and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The only thing to bear in mind is that the area can be very noisy at night, so if you prefer peace and quiet, this might not be the best choice for you. Personally, I’ve found that earplugs work wonders, as I’ve learned from experience on several trips when staying in similar places. The traditional English breakfast is absolutely fantastic! I would definitely stay here again at the first opportunity.

location was the best thing, it took me ten minutes on foot to get anywhere, Lime st, shopping centre, Matthew st and the docks. The staff were pleasant enough

My room was a glorified broom cupboard., clean but a bit ragged at the edges Mildly depressing Breakfast was served quickly but wasn't particularly inspiring, a bit on the small side
