Situato in una stradina caratteristica del centro storico di Sarteano (paese in posizione strategica per visitare gli splendidi borghi della Val d'Orcia e della Val di Chiana), la struttura ha origini molto antiche (รจ infatti nel circuito delle dimore storiche, essendo stata la casa natale di Papa Pio III, nato nel 1439 e Papa nel 1503), ma รจ stata ristrutturata assai di recente: conserva l'atmosfera del passato, ma รจ dotata di tutti i confort per rendere molto gradevole il soggiorno. Gentilissimi i proprietari, ottima la colazione, curata personalmente dalla signora.
Da segnalare, soprattutto per gli ospiti con qualche limitazione dei movimenti, che la struttura non รจ dotata di ascensore (aggiungerei ovviamente, dato che รจ in un palazzo antico): alle camere si accede solo attraverso delle scale, nella prima rampa piuttosto ripide.
