Great location handy to the riverside bars and restaurants; nice views looking over the River Douro to the port houses.
Super friendly and accommodating staff - even looked after some of our luggage while we went up the Douro Valley for a few days and returned back to Porto.
Huge room, comfortable beds.
Great breakfasts and nice touch with cakes and drinks available during the day for guests who where hungry!
Pillows were not the best = asked for these to be changed and despite saying this would happen it did not but a minor quibble given how good everything else was!

Perfect for Europe!
Not easily assessable if you are handicapped. Typical for Europe

The food selection and quality was excellent. The staff were also willing to make eggs to order ( scrambled etc). The coffee machine was a nice treat once you knew how to use it properly.
You either have to take stairs or drag a suitcase along a long cobblestone ramp to get to the entrance. That could be challenging for some.

Location, friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness
Taxi / u er drop off and pick up point is on main road , meaning that we had to drag suitcases up a cobbled street for a short distance
