Address Beach Resort Fujairah

We have stayed at this hotel couple of times and continue to choose it because of The Address brand and the quality we associate with it. The room was modern, stylish, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a well-stocked minibar, a coffee machine, and large, comfortable bed. A special mention goes to the bar staff, who were extremely friendly, attentive, and always happy to serve a good drink, which we mostly picked at the bar directly.

Having stayed at several Address properties, we naturally have certain expectations of the brand, particularly when it comes to service, attention to detail, and the overall five-star experience. Unfortunately, this stay fell short in several areas. Firstly, it was disappointing to discover that the hotel's only à la carte restaurant was still under renovation, especially during the peak season. While the property offers a buffet restaurant and a lobby café with an à la carte menu, neither really replaces a proper fine-dining experience. When choosing a luxury five-star hotel, guests naturally expect a wider selection of quality dining options. Secondly, we had informed the hotel in advance that we would be celebrating our anniversary during this stay. Unfortunately, the only gesture we received was three balloons placed on our bed, which felt rather somewhat embarrassing for a property of this standard. Having experienced other luxury hotels, we would normally expect a more thoughtful and personalized touch, such as a handwritten card, a small dessert, or another simple but meaningful amenity. We raised this with the hotel staff, but no explanation was provided as to why such a special occasion, communicated well in advance, could not have been made more memorable, particularly for returning guests. Another disappointing aspect was the beach experience. We noticed a considerable amount of plastic waste along the beach, an issue we had already observed and brought to the hotel's attention during our previous stay. Unfortunately, there appears to have been little improvement. Beach service was also inconsistent. On our first day, there was absolutely no service provided. On the second day, during the few hours we spent at the beach before departure, we were offered water and ice cream, which was a nice gesture. However, overall, the level of service was still below what we would expect from an Address property.

The hotel is very well maintained, swimming pool and beach are nice. Beds are comfy. Staff is very helpful and kind.

Dinner buffet was very bad for a 5-star hotel. Not a lot of choice. Only 1 pasta stand, and the chef didn’t know how to put cook pasta… very sad as we were thinking something much better for a 5-star hotel at Address.

Main issues were the main restaurant was closed and has been for several months. No mention on the booking site that this is closed so for a 5 start hotel you only have a buffet option not acceptable in my view. The available sun bed was not adequate and sun shades even less causing problems and no where to sit and relax during the day - very poor for a 'resort' hotel. There should be a regulation in the UAE that prevents hotels from selling what they do not have, Beach area was small again for size of hotel and lifeguard was always blowing whistle to keep people inside the containment area - felt very controlled and a little strange, I did discuss with front office Manager and duty hotel Manager the latter of which did not comment nor offer an apology - did not think he was even listening to me. there are much better hotels there than this one!
