It was very nice, great location close to metro. The room was spacious nd clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast buffet is super.if you are going to Madrid, this is the place to stay
Nothing everything was great

Every detail had been thought of; toothbrushes, bottled water daily, proper hairdryer. The bed was extremely comfy especially after long days walking. Loved the separate toilet and shower. Location was spot on. We also had a free upgrade to deluxe, thank you very much, completely unexpected and grateful.
I was disappointed the pool was closed in October when the weather was 27 degrees. I really wanted to enjoy the water to cool down. Roof bar was €5 each to access, sorry but if I'm a guest and already paid quite a lot to stay I want free access, the roof top bar and pool were both reasons we chose this hotel! Sonwe didn't really benefit.
Gran Vía can be loud at night, large crowds and sirens, it felt and sounded like New York but that's not the hotels fault.

The location is great
There was no proper control/security at the main entrance, there’s a person sat there but doesn’t ask to see your proof of room keys or if you’re just guests wanting to explore the hotel , because of the name CR7, many many people come into the hotel which is fine, but there’s people wandering around everywhere. It’s really badly organised. I think a lot of people are expecting lots of Cristiano memorabilia, and there’s very little. The food in the restaurant was good but the staff disorganised and uninterested.
