Amenities at the Seehund Vacation Home

The Seehund vacation home in Glowe offers plenty of space for up to 8 people across 130 m². Conveniently located between the beach and a wooded area, this vacation home is an ideal base for active travelers or families with children.
From the central, cozy living room with a fireplace, dining area, and open kitchen, a staircase leads to the 4 bedrooms on the upper floor. Here you’ll find a large bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The kitchen, equipped with an induction stove, microwave, and oven, has everything an amateur chef could wish for. Also on the first floor, there is a small bathroom and a large shower with access to the outdoor sauna. The small sauna house stands separately in the middle of the garden.
The house is also equipped with a high chair, a travel crib, a dog bed, and a food bowl. Free Wi-Fi is, of course, available. A washing machine and dryer are also available free of charge. All windows and patio doors are equipped with insect screens.
Since smoking is prohibited inside the vacation home, there is a covered smoking area in the outbuilding.
On the 850 m² fenced-in property, you’ll also find an outdoor grill and outdoor fireplace, three folding lounge chairs, plenty of patio furniture, and a beach chair for your use. There is also plenty of space and shade for pets. The forest is nearby, and the dog beach is just 300 meters away. Additionally, for a small fee, you can use the charging station for your electric car at the house and the private sauna.

Facilities:

Welcome to this gorgeous vacation home in Glowe! The seaside resort of Glowe is an ideal haven of peace for those seeking relaxation, couples, and dog owners. Along the Schaabe—the longest stretch of beach on the island of Rügen—you can let your four-legged friend run free and enjoy a refreshing dip in the Baltic Sea on sunny days. In addition to the numerous shopping options and restaurants available here, Glowe also offers a variety of biking and hiking trails that invite you to explore the island.

For example, a trip to nearby Spyckerschen Lake or Dinosaur Land is well worth it. Here you can experience these extinct prehistoric reptiles up close, surrounded by highly detailed replicas.

The Jasmund Peninsula is also not far away and has plenty to offer. On this peninsula, characterized by beech forests, you’ll find the Jasmund National Park, complete with a national park center. There, you’ll learn about the formation of Rügen and its famous chalk cliffs. You can marvel at these very cliffs on Jasmund and even view them from the water by boat. The chalk formation known as the Königsstuhl is particularly popular.

Prora lies south of Jasmund. Here you’ll find the Natural Heritage Center, which houses the treetop trail. The step-free wooden path, over 1,250 meters long, leads you through the treetops of Prora all the way to the famous Eagle’s Nest. The wooden structure is over 40 meters high, and once you reach the top, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of half of Rügen.

In the center of Glowe, you’ll find everything you need for daily life. The town offers a bakery, a supermarket, and other shopping options, as well as several restaurants and much more.
