Style of the hotel and the historical features, staff were exceptional and very friendly
Would of preferred to have stayed in our first room but the tv was broken but staff did get straight on it and moved our room with no hassle

We absolutely loved our stay in this historic location. The staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was very wholesome and hearty , and the atmosphere is just stunning to be amongst such an extensive renovation , which is modern but encompasses such historical value.
The hotel is truly and utterly fabulous , but there are some constructive criticism points that we would like to offer.
I find the mattress to be slightly too hard and a bigger selection of champagnes would be most welcome in the champagne bar. It would be nice to see some english sparkling featured on the menu. My third completely frivolous point would be that a more seasonal array of floor arrangement would be lovely in the chapel restaurant. I realise this is a slightly silly point. However , I work in floral , creative arrangements and an automal orange spread would have been absolutely beautiful against the purple vibrant walls of the space.
