Hotel's 24 hour cafe concept with free book borrowing, easy check in and out, great rotating breakfast menu and ability to converse in english, and great value for rooms works great for international travellers.
Air conditioning units were a little unpredictable and needs abit of adjustments. There is no free parking and access to paid parking lot is behind the hotel.

Location was great, right in the middle of Susukino shopping area, but not in the super super crowded part, so if you want a place that's close to all the fun shops, but far enough that it's quiet, this is perfect. I love that it's a bookstore! I borrowed a little children's book to practice my Japanese. They also let me store my luggage early in the morning when I had to grab a train but it was too early to check in, so I'm very appreciative of them for that. The breakfast options are limited, but excellent. The shower had excellent pressure.
I'm super grateful to the kind staff who was fluent in English, but I did feel bad as he seemed to be the one who was most comfortable with the language, and everyone else had to ask him for help. Normally I'd just speak Japanese, but they noticed the moment I struggled for even one second, so I do appreciate that.
Definitely the smallest room I was in for the duration of my Sapporo stay. It was barely enough room for one person, and I could not imagine having two people in that room with multiple bags.

Great location. Liked the concept,
Very cramped tables. Couldnāt sit anywhere (even the 8 seats at reception) without buying a drink or whatever. No where except room to read a book quietly. No bottled water. No tea or coffee in rooms. Staff under the pump so no time for pleasantries. Automated check in and out so little human interaction
