We had rented another apartment, in the same building for 4 days, previously. We found the bed there too small and tried to contact the "help line" to upgrade to a 2 bedroom. The "help line" did not respond/the management is closed afternoons and weekends. We stayed in Apartment 401, building 13, but I bought a yoga mat and slept on the floor. When the initial reservation was finished, we needed to stay in the city so we rented the 2 bedroom apartment in the same building. As we had to vacate apartment 401 hours before entering apartment 201, we tried again to contact the administration to ask if our 2 small suitcases could be held, pending availability in the 201 flat. Of course, no one answered. It was necessary to shift our luggage to a deposit on the other side of town (30e+hassle)...then, return. Again, the customer service was lacking. We never saw a "staff" in the days we were in the building..aside, from a sweet cleaner whom we came across accidentally, and who gave us pillows..which the "help line" was never able to provide. Plaza Mayor is a company which owns many apartments in Valladolid. A huge investment, to my experience, poorly managed.

The location was great. We had a studio apartment overlooking Plaza Mayor which was great to view the Santa Semana Easter processions.
The kitchen and washing machine were new and worked very well.
The apartment was spacious and there was plenty of room for an armchair or sofa but only two uncomfortable dining chairs were provided. There was nowhere comfortable to sit in the apartment. With only one pillow on the bed it wasn't even comfortable to watch TV from the bed as you had to sit up and lean against the wall.
The bed was a very small double and had only one pillow so it was not comfortable for two people to sleep in the bed.
The apartment is advertised as a one bedroom apartment but it is really only a studio apartment, or more accurately a large room with a small double bed, dining table and two chairs. We had expected a sofa or armchairs. There was a lot of unnecessary decoration like plastic plants and vases.
I don't understand hosts who spend money on plastic plants and other decorative items but don't provide basic things like pillows and cushions that add to guest comfort.
The apartment had not been cleaned before we arrived and the phone number provided to contact the host didn't work. We were able to contact the host via messenger but it took two hours to get the cleaner (and her husband) out to clean the apartment. Host did give us a small refund but it didn't really make up for the inconvenience.
