It’s situated on the southern slope of Hilders, surrounded by nature, just a few minutes from the town center. Thanks to excellent transportation links, you can enjoy the tranquility of nature while also quickly reaching all major attractions and recreational activities.
With the adjacent Three-Country Corner—Hesse, Bavaria, and Thuringia—everything is within easy reach, whether by foot or by car in just a few minutes.
In the immediate vicinity of our lodging, you’ll find numerous shopping options, restaurants, and an ice cream parlor. There are beautiful loop trails that pass by attractions such as the Auersburg Castle or the breathtaking view from the Buchschirm. For relaxation, there’s the Ulsterwelle water park, which features an indoor combination pool with a summer water temperature of 29°, a children’s pool, and a slide; during the outdoor swimming season, there’s also an outdoor pool with a large outdoor area next to the adventure pool.
Nearby attractions include the Wasserkuppe with its amusement park, the Rotes Moor and Schwarzes Moor, Gersfeld with its zoo, the small Rhön town of Tann, Wendershausen with Rhöndorf and an indoor playground; Point Alpha is 22 km from Hilders. Family-friendly vacation rental featuring two bedrooms (one double and one twin)—This spacious, light-filled apartment has a loft with a desk and a reading chair, as well as two balconies with stunning views. From the loft and the skylight in the upper room, you can admire the stars in the Rhön Star Park.
Towels and bed linens are included in the price for 2 people. Fully equipped kitchen-diner with dining area, fireplace, and cozy living area with satellite TV. Wi-Fi! A washing machine is available on the floor for an additional fee. Sunbathing area and barbecue facilities with a gazebo in the garden.
On-site fees: Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in advance to arrange this. Keys will be handed over in person on-site. Pets are not allowed. The tourist tax of 1€ per person/night (ages 14 and up) will be charged additionally on-site.
