Vacation Apartment 1 (55 square meters) can accommodate up to 4 people. One bedroom with a double bed,
a living room with a sleeper sofa, and an optional outdoor room for 2 people with
washing facilities, a bathroom with shower/toilet, and a fully equipped kitchenette, as well as
coffee makers (filter and Senseo), a kettle, toaster, and microwave are available to
guests, as well as a furnished balcony.
On the outskirts of Abtsroda, a small hamlet of Poppenhausen, you’ll find the Abtsroda vacation home —a vacation apartment complex—where you can enjoy wonderful days of relaxation in an idyllic setting with unobstructed views of the Wasserkuppe, Abtsrodaer Kuppe, the Pferdskopf, and the beautiful Rhön. A total of 4 vacation apartments, each with a small kitchenette, are available for booking. A washing machine is available for guests. In the courtyard, there is a barbecue area with a fully equipped garden shed and play facilities for younger guests. Bicycles and motorcycles can be stored in the courtyard. The Hochrhöner hiking trail, the Wasserkuppe, and many other attractions are within walking or biking distance.
On-site costs: The booking price must be paid in advance via bank transfer.A deposit of 30% of the total price is due immediately after booking; the balance is due no later than 14 days before arrival. Credit card payments are not accepted! Cancellations made up to 21 days before arrival are free of charge.Later cancellations will be charged as follows: 30% for cancellations 20 to 14 days before arrival, 40% for cancellations 13 to 4 days before arrival, and 70% for cancellations 4 to 1 day before arrival, based on the total price.In case of a no-show or cancellation on the day of arrival, 100% of the total price is due. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Keys are handed over in person on site. A bread roll service is available. For our younger guests, a travel crib (for a fee), high chair, and changing table are available upon request. The local tourist tax of 1 € per person per day will be added to the bill.Fees for the washing machine, travel crib, dogs, garden shed, and grill: Washing machine: €5 per load; Travel crib: €10 one-time fee. Pets are not allowed on our property. - Flat-rate delivery fee for the bread roll service: up to 5--€ - Garden shed: 1st night 75.--€, each additional night 15.--€ - Barbecue use: €20. Hikers in the garden shed (max. 3) per person per night on a travel crib: €35. For a fee: transportation service for shopping, and transfers to/from the bus station, train station, and the start or end of hiking stages.
