The pub's location was up a fairly steep, single road off the A4 where driving enthusiastically is required. It is worthwhile though as the views afforded once there are stupendous across the valley.
Callan led us to the room carrying my partner's case! and proceeded to provide a very comprehensive, friendly welcome and informed of of just about everything we needed to know.
Waitresses Alice and Kiera provided great table service throughout our evening roast dinner with our two guests taking care of everything.
Breakfast was wonderful too with a huge glass of fresh orange juice before a full English.
Very minor comments here.
1. milk bottle in a hidden fridge within a cupboard should be highlighted on arrival and Guest Info Sheet in the room
2. the WC seat was loose.

View was insane! Food was amazing and the staff super friendly! The room was cold on arrival staff couldn't do enough to try and change that ! Cookies in the room and radio was on when arrived very welcoming ! Definitely be back
Only small issue was the lighting was very dark.

Lovely views across the valley from bedroom snd dining room. Helpful and friendly staff. A good clean ensuite bathroom.
There was a small free standing fridge in a built in cupboard. The motor woke me many times during the night, I had very little sleep.
Carpet was vacuumed but dirty and stained, didn't want to put bare feet on it. Blanket over the bottom of the bed stained.
Passage to the room unpleasant, cleaning products on the side of the floor, dirty doors.
Bathroom products had not been checked for my health intolerance, I did and I couldn't use them. Luckily had alternatives with me.
