The above was not my experience at the hotel; the staff member in charge was both rude and unhelpful.
My wife and I agree that we will not recommend this hotel. Although the rooms were first class,
On our arrival the Bistro appeared deserted and in disarray.
We had noticed from the many emails we received beginning on 11th September onwards that the staff were only interested in going home on time, We called out three times with no response. Our paperwork was laid out facing us with the keys placed on top. From our impressions gained from your emails we felt that the staff had left early. Claire, aged 70 took the lead and found the room {14} because I suffer from rheumatism arthritis of the knee. We took our bags to our exceptional room and we called out to each other on the four flights of stairs more than once, still no response from the staff!
We descended the stairs . We found a member of staff sitting at her laptop, who at first did not acknowledge us and appeared not to have any idea that we had been in the hotel for over an hour!
Claire explained what we had done and why, the response from the staff member said that they were in the kitchen and that she needed to show us the keys work and check the paperwork.
I explained that eight flights of stairs on top or the four I had already done would be difficult for me
.( may I suggest that if the paperwork was that important she could make use of the laptop in front of her to look at it).
She stood up from her laptop and DEMANDED the paperwork NOW!, I had had enough I said she could wait and left.
my wife retrieve the paperwork from the room.
I have informed the hotl of this 10 days ago but as yet have had no reply I can only presume that this is normal service for this hotel

Uncomfortable bed, very little water pressure shower dribbled out. Bathroom had a smell to it
