A very comfortable old style hotel located close to the museums and to a direct bus to the airport. Very welcoming staff and decent sized room. Near the activity but on a quiet street.
Expensive but moderately priced according to Amsterdam standards.

The staff were always cheerful and smiling, and their hospitality was outstanding.
The hotel was easily accessible from the airport by a direct airport bus, making the journey very convenient. There was also a tram stop near the airport bus stop, so it was easy to explore Amsterdam's main attractions and get to Amsterdam Central Station.
Both the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum were within walking distance, which made it especially convenient to visit the museums early in the morning before they got crowded.
There was no refrigerator in the room, so I had to eat any food I bought from the supermarket on the same day. However, this wasn't a major inconvenience, as there were supermarkets within walking distance.

We loved everything about this hotel- staff( Mia and Alicia), beautiful building, our room, cold fresh drinking water in lobby, honor system bar for beer, wine tea etc. We could walk everywhere from the hotel.
