Cosy cottage with a very homely feeling, we loved spending the evening on the comfy sofa in front of the electric but very real looking stove. Perfect for families with little ones who need to go to bed early, we appreciated having a separate living space.
The bedroom upstairs is very big and the beds incredibly comfortable. We really liked finding a fridge available for us to use for our cheese souvenirs from the Wensleydale Creamery, at about 30 mins from the Cottage.
We also loved all the walks we went to around the village, the quiet spot where the cottage is located, with a stream running by, and how the morning sunshine flooded in from the stone window at breakfast, making Tina's super yummy full english the favourite moment of our day.
There are chickens in the garden and lots of cute cats that our little boy loved watching from the windows or stroking on our way out.
The owner Tina is a very attentive host, full of good recommendations and friendliness. She was so kind as to provide with everything we needed and more (from a nightlight for our boy to the pizza cutter on pizza night) and we are so grateful!
We wish her business all the success possible and we can't wait to return on our next visit.
Parking can be tricky although of course, always available due to the quiet location. It would be helpful to have some information sent beforehand for extra clarity.

Thoughtful measures like having oat milk, putting a fan on, adding ice cubes and checking i know how to operste everything.
