Everything was perfect! The room was so cozy. And the hotel personal was so kind

I stayed at this hotel tou in kyoto for a couple nights and it was good. The city centre of Kyoto is a bit of a distance so we were mostly catching the train or taxi around where we could. It was about a 20 min walk into the main area.
It was further out of the city centre than I expected but we made it work.

Had an Onsen, it was large and the vibes have been perfected. Room was spacious and bathroom was very big by Japanese standards.
The location was a bit out of the way and we did have to do quite a bit of walking to get to the sites.

Conveniently located. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
It was the darkest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We were on the ground floor and had no natural light coming in the room and the lighting in the room itself was insufficient. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
