Welcome to our lovingly restored vacation home in the heart of Sommerhausen. This historic gatehouse, dating back to 1604, was carefully renovated between 2005 and 2007 to become a true gem. The non-smoking vacation apartment is located above a historic archway and sits quietly in the courtyard of the “Goldener Ochsen.” Here, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere right in the heart of the historic town center. A charging station is available for guests with electric vehicles for a fee. For hygiene reasons, pets are not permitted in the vacation apartment. Check-in is from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (or by arrangement—on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, always by arrangement due to the property’s day off—a key box with a code may be provided). Check-out is by 10:30 AM. Pets are not allowed for hygiene reasons. We kindly remind you that smoking is not permitted in our building. Failure to comply will result in a special cleaning fee of 25.00 EUR. Guests may cancel free of charge up to 60 days before arrival. In the event of a cancellation within 60 days prior to arrival, the guest will be charged 80% of the total price. Upon arrangement, guests may enjoy the breakfast buffet at the restaurant.
